So my house is burning down! Hypothetically of course, what would I grab as I left? …
There are lots of things that i would want to keep or that are valuable but there isnt much that holds sentimental value. The first thing I would definately grab is my portable hard drive because it has a copy of all my music, films, photos, and work on it which would be horrible to lose!
The second item I would grab would be my iPhone, it has everything on it mainly my contacts, it would also come in very useful during the situation for calling the firebrigade and adding the casual facebook status telling the world my flat is on fire!!
This is where I would get a little stuck on what to grab, most of the sentimental photos + data is safe and all that is left is valuables such as tv, ps3, speakers which are insured anyway so I wouldnt be that bothered if they went up in flames!
Number 3 would have to be my wallet because of the irritation and cost of getting all the cards in it replaced. The fourth item i would pocket as I left would be my keys, just because they are small and manageable…
And the last item would be my laptop, although i would be tempted to leave it behind and get a better one with the insurance money!
